About ten days ago I wrote to you asking which of my

interim reports you have actually received. You have not

yet had time to answer that letter. An international

meeting takes me away, however, for three weeks, and it

seems best to send you copies of those which I have

reason to believe did not reach you. It may be that

officials of those colonies are on leave, and might ask

questions which the reports might answer.
